Our mission
I know it sounds pretty James Bond to say you have a mission. We have a mission.
Our mission is to make Date Rape and Abuse a men’s issue. Since Men are overwhelmingly the ones responsible, we have to be the ones who put an end to it. The statistics agree – nothing a woman does, says, wears or acts like can make it more or less likely that she will be raped or abused. The abusers are 100% responsible and that mostly means men. It means us.
The problem: Men turn off their brains when people start talking about women’s issues. That’s just how we are. We assume it’s not for us- not our problem. So men continue to Abuse while hundreds of women’s groups spend their time and money trying to clean up the mess. Along the way, women lose the ability to believe in us – to believe that men can be better.
The Solution: Make it our problem. Then Fix it.
